We are seeking a dynamic, smart, and service-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our A&A team for the 2024 tax season (March 4, 2023 to May 3, 2023).
Purpose of the PositionAs a Administrative Assistant, Scanning you will focus on leveraging your administrative skills and basic knowledge of accounting principles in supporting the entire A&A Department to facilitate the efficient operation of the department during the high-volume tax season.
The role will involve ensuring the "Ultimate Client Experience" is provided, and showcasing your organizational qualities.Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Coordinating the intake of client documents
- Scanning physical documents into the tax software
- Quality management of paper and electronic files such as retrieval, storage and setup
- General administrative duties including intake of client documents, management of mail, photocopying and scanning
- Supporting the procedures for T1s, T3s, T4s, and T5, including logging in, collating, delivering, and filing of returns
- Providing direct administrative support to entire team
- Providing assistance during periods of team member vacations, illnesses and other absenteeism
- Additional duties, as assigned
What you offer:

- Proficient in MS Office computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to prioritize workload and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment

- Strong work ethic and ability to work in an environment requiring discretion and confidentiality
- Capability of working with clients in a professional and confidential manner.

- Sits at a desk for prolonged periods and works on a computer

- Is able to deal with working in a highstress environment with competing priorities, demanding deadlines, and interruptions
- May work additional hours beyond the standard as required during late February, March, and April to assist/meet the firm's objectives and responsibilities to provide client service.
