Responsibilities:


  • Set the strategic direction for the company, crafting a vision for success.
  • Develop and execute robust, innovative business plans to reach the company's goals and objectives.
  • Supervise all operations and business activities to ensure alignment with the overall strategy and mission.
  • Foster a positive and transparent company culture that encourages innovation and dedication.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with partners, stakeholders, investors, government regulators, and industry counterparts.
  • Lead fundraising planning and execution, securing the necessary resources for the company's growth.
  • Make astute investment decisions to drive business advancement and increase profitability.
  • Guarantee the company's financial performance and growth.
  • Oversee all fiscal activities, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
  • Advocate and represent the company and its values in interactions with partners, government entities, the media, and the public.

Qualifications:


  • Proven leadership experience, preferably as a CEO or in other senior managerial roles within the biotech or food science industry.
  • Indepth knowledge and understanding of the cultured meat industry, including its unique challenges and opportunities is an asset.
  • Solid grasp of corporate finance and performance management principles.
  • Exceptional business acumen, with a keen understanding of market dynamics and factors influencing the company.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills, along with the proven ability to develop and maintain relationships at various levels.
