WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Position:
Design and Social Administrative Assistant


Location:
Edmonton and Area


Job Type:
Full Time 12-month contract position (Maternity Leave Coverage) with the possibility of extension


Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining company website and social media accounts including posting of photos and completing information updates
  • Managing permit submissions as per project and municipality requirements
  • Assisting clients with interior design selections for residential construction projects including meeting at various suppliers' locations
  • Tendering invitations to Subcontractors to bid on commercial and residential projects, including following up with Trades for quotes in a timely manner
  • Prepare and organize job schedules to keep projects on track
  • Maintaining site calendars to ensure they are up to date
  • Onsite project visits and managing progress of residential projects
  • Submitting progress photos of projects and progress reports to Project Managers
  • Accurate and timely submission of all payroll hours
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:


  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Minimum two years' administrative experience in an office setting preferably within the construction industry
  • Experience with Interior Design, Project Quoting and Marketing would be considered an asset
  • Strong computer and organizational skills including intermediate MS Word and Excel knowledge is required
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Enjoys working in a fastpaced environment
  • Enjoys being part of a team

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
$45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
