Position Summary
Magellan Aerospace, Limited has an exciting new opportunity for an SAP Training Lead. The SAP Training Lead is a key stakeholder in our global SAP S/4HANA transformation project.

In this role, the successful incumbent will help to define the training strategy, work with business users of our SAP systems to identify training needs and develop effective training programs to ensure effective use of the system and maximize benefits in partnership with the corporate HR department.


As part of the SAP Centre of Excellence, the SAP Training Lead will be collaborating with functional, technical and management to ensure training material and learning systems are kept up-to-date, and that all system changes are captured in training courses.

The role will have dotted line to corporate HR.


Essential Responsibilities:


  • Training Strategy for SAP S4

HANA:
_

  • Help to define a refreshed global approach to training users of our SAP systems (S/4HANA)
  • Identify technology solutions to better support interactive training for business users.
  • Ensure training is a core part of the change management process.
  • Collaboration:_
  • Business users to understand where training gaps are
  • Review incidents with the SAP support team to understand where the root cause is knowledge gaps in the business.
  • Be part of deployment projects to ensure training programs align with
  • Ensure training content is kept up to date:_
  • Reference guides presentations covering key concepts, quick reference guides for simple transactions, standard operating procedures.
  • Videos both short videos to cover quick summaries and longer videos to cover more complex topics.
  • Interactive learning systems training programs align to functionality within the system.
  • Training clients roles and data in SAP training systems are refreshed for ad hoc training and for deployment projects.
  • Reporting:_
  • Update management and Corporate HR with progress of training initiatives
  • Use support stats to show trends in knowledge improvements across the business
  • Presenting completion rates and plans for addressing any shortfalls
  • Communication:_
  • Regular communication to relevant business users to align with standard systems changes
  • Consistent communication during deployment projects to keep training completions rates are on track with wider project plan
  • Establish and maintain an effective communication network with key users across multiple regions to receive feedback and ensure training needs are being met

Position Requirements:


  • Qualification or certification in a relevant discipline
  • 2+ years experience in training initiatives working to best practices and modern training solutions
  • Travel
  • Experience working with both internal and third party teams to deliver complex solutions
  • Knowledge of the complexities around training programs for enterprise transformation programs
  • An understanding of the key milestones of an SAP S/4HANA deployment project
  • Ability to cover highlevel strategic vision alongside the detailed work required to support business' training needs
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Good interpersonal skills liaising with internal and external contacts
  • Team player able to collaborate with colleagues, and have a strong desire to excel collectively
  • Selfmotivated and able to work on own initiative where necessary
  • Able to multitask and work under tight deadlines
  • Adaptable personality and an effective and creative approach the role
