We're looking for an ambitious and hard-working professional to join our Processing team in the role of
Team Member, Processing (Trim)

As a Team Member, Processing, you will.

  • Maintaining and processing plants
  • Responsible for assisting in the harvesting and preparation of Cannabis for processing and bulk packaging
  • Ensure that proper sanitation is maintained for all production equipment and tools including workspaces, processing equipment and overall room cleanliness
  • Where trained, performing verification of process and documentation may be required
  • Work as part of a team towards meeting department and company goals regarding efficiencies, yields and cost
  • Must adhere to Aurora's SOPs and comply with Health Canada's Cannabis Act. In addition, must adhere to ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management System), ISO Environment Management System) and OHSAS Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series).
  • Promote and maintain GMP requirements.
  • Be a steward of Aurora's Values in Play, an ambassador for our company, our product and our clients
  • Other duties as required

You would be the best fit for this role if you have

  • Recognize unsafe conditions and practices and make corrections to prevent injuries and product loss.
  • Physical effort is required, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and after hours as required.
  • Repetitive use of hands, wrists and forearms.
  • Ability to frequently use a step ladder
  • Working environmental conditions range from 19°C 28°C
  • Equip with PPE including but not limited to jumpsuit, safety glasses/goggles, faceshield, respirator mask, heat resistant work gloves
  • This position involves significant exposure to cannabis/plant materials, and it is therefore not likely suitable for an employee that may suffer from allergies to cannabis/plant pollen material, or experience other medical issues, such as asthma and hay fever, as a result of cannabis/plant material exposure.
