    Description
    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Investigate security breaches and cyber security incidents, mitigate, and escalate as necessary.
  • Perform vulnerability testing, risk analyses and security assessments.
  • Lead the remediation of detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams regarding security when implementing new and existing network technologies.
  • Assess and ensure vendors are compliant with organizational data protection policies and practices.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, across the organization to provide expert advice on security and information risks.
  • Assist with various cyber security awareness program initiatives including cyber security awareness training, and simulated phishing campaigns.
  • Enforce policies and procedures for managing and protecting information assets.
  • Prepare detailed reports from relevant monitoring tools such as SIEMS, firewalls, and email filtering tools.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, sustenance, and continuous improvement of cyber security programs including (but not limited to) threat intelligence, policy management, Cyber Security Risk Management, incident response and disaster recovery, and application security.
  • Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards.
  • Demonstrates understanding of ACU's commitment to values-based banking, respectful workplace and diversity and inclusion.
  • Employees are required to keep strictly confidential the affairs of anyone whose private information becomes available to them in the course of their duties.
  • Other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.

    • QUALIFICATIONS

    Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in technology, computer science or a related field
  • 3+ years of work experience in Information Technology
  • Plus 2+ years of experience specializing in information security or network/system engineering.

    • Key Occupational Skills

  • Sound knowledge of Information technology and network infrastructure.
  • Hands-on knowledge and understanding of firewalls, SIEM, antivirus and IDPS concepts.
  • Ability to identify security threats and vulnerabilities, and proffer mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent knowledge of the tools and techniques used by ethical hackers including vulnerability scanners and network mapping tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and collaboratively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to learn is a requirement.

    • At least one of the following certifications is mandatory :

  • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
  • SSCP (Systems Security Certified Professional)
  • CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
  • CompTIA Security+
  • CCNA CyberOps (Cisco Certified Network Associate Cyber Operations)
  • CCNA (Security)- Cisco Certified Network Associate (Security specialization)

    • Any of the following certifications is an asset:

  • CompTIA Network+
  • GSEC - SANS GIAC Security Essentials Certification
  • CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor
  • CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control
  • PCI QSA

    • Experience with the following vendor toolsets is considered an asset:

  • AlienVault
  • PacketFence
  • RedSeal
  • Tenable
  • DarkTrace
  • SIEM Solution such as AT&T USM/AlienVault, Splunk
