Job Responsibilities:

As a Programmer/Analyst, Level 2 you will:
Gather and analyze data to assess the technical and economic feasibility of proposed enhancements.
Design object models, data models, methods, and procedures for system enhancements.
Provide recommendations on integrating services with our client's Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) infrastructure.
Collaborate closely with our client's development team and System Architect to develop flexible, high-performance, and reliable services.
Develop, test, and implement enhancements to existing systems.
Produce technical documentation including change control documents, technical procedures, and user manuals.
Conduct systems testing as part of a system test team.
Troubleshoot and debug technical issues.
Transfer skills and knowledge to internal personnel.
Liaise with stakeholders to advance projects through various stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Support and adhere to selected departmental methodologies.


Mandatory Qualifications:

A minimum of five (5) years of work experience within the last eight (8) years as a Programmer Analyst developing enterprise-level, Java-based web applications.

A minimum of two (2) years of experience in each of the following technologies developing web applications: J2EE, Spring Frameworks, SpringBoot, JSP, JMS, AJAX, JavaScript, JUnit, XML, JSON, SQL, Web Services (SOAP and RESTful), and Enterprise-level application servers.

Work experience developing web applications using Angular and Java 11 or higher.

A minimum of three (3) years of work experience as a Programmer Analyst on teams with a minimum of three (3) developers.

Work experience in the following competencies: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Web Experience Toolkit (WET), Canadian Centre for Cyber Security guidelines.

Two (2) years of work experience developing software in a team coding environment (minimum of three (3) developers) using Eclipse integrated with a version control system like Git/GitHub, Subversion, or CVS.

Experience using at least four (4) of the following technologies: PL/SQL, Oracle 11g (or greater) Application/WebLogic Server, Oracle 11g (or greater) Database, OpenID Connect/OAuth 2, Struts, iText, Hibernate, and JQuery.

Work experience using at least seven (7) of the following technologies: MS or Adoxio portals, ASP, .NET, C#, MS Power Platform, MS Azure DevOps, MS Visual Studio, MS Dynamics CRM v2016 or greater, MS Dynamics 365 workflows, workflow assemblies and plugins, SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), XrmToolBox, PowerShell, and Python.

Minimum 5 years experience providing operations support for web applications by investigating production issues and debugging application logic.
