Responsibilities

Trading &
Risk
Management**Work with the global trade team in Canada, Singapore, and overseas offices to execute trade strategy.

Keep ongoing communication with buyers and global trade team on prices, new crop prospects.

Execute trades as directed and/or approved by Agrocorp.

Execute new and existing buyer qualification procedures.

Handle and follow up claims.

Mark
to
Market
Monitoring**Observe and communicating short/long positions of each commodity in the context of mark to market, collate the information to global trade team.

Work closely with the finance team to execute effective risk management, and futures/hedging strategies.

Work closely with the finance team to monitor trade P&L.

Inform Agrocorp teams immediately of any issues that would impact position, execution, and financing.

& **Development**Identify and expand buyer base.

Identify new commodity and market opportunities.

S&D analysis


Teamwork**:

Inform Agrocorp Canada teams of any information and process changes affecting them.

Train and/or share knowledge with the Agrocorp Canada teams.

• Relevant postsecondary degree diploma is considered an asset.

Proven ability in logistics methods and procedures

Multi-tasker who is a solution-focused problem solver

Effective written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages an asset)

Strong time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with mínimal supervision.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel

Strong communication and organizational skills

Must be able to work individually and as part of a team.

Ability to handle confidential materials.
