    Description

    RÔLE

    En tant qu'assistant.e sénior, tu travailleras étroitement avec l'équipe de post production de Montréal. Tu joueras un rôle essentiel au sein de l'équipe en veillant à ce que tous les projets roulent bien. Tu devras aussi faire des montages de manière autonome et tu relèveras du responsable technique.

    RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Gérer des projets dans la salle de montage : importation / sélection / organisation de projet / etc.
  • Faire la révision technique des sources de tournage.
  • Compresser les vidéos en différents formats selon les spécifications des clients.
  • Apporter du soutien technique au monteur ou à la monteuse.
  • Répondre aux besoins d'importation ou d'exportation pendant le montage ou aux autres demandes du monteur ou de la monteuse.
  • Concevoir, gérer et distribuer tous les éléments pour les étapes de finalisation qui seront utilisés dans le mix audio, l'envoi en colorisation, les graphiques finaux, les effets visuels et les animations.
  • Faire des vérifications et assurer le contrôle de la qualité des modifications pour veiller à l'uniformité.
  • S'assurer de nettoyer les fichiers à la fin d'un projet pour les archiver.
  • Créer les livrables finaux dans différentes résolutions et codecs vidéo ou audio (UHD, HD, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, etc.).
  • Entretenir, préparer et organiser l'équipement audio et vidéo.
  • Aider responsable technique ou technique dans le cadre de projets précis.

    • REQUIS

  • DEC en arts et technologies des médias ou certification équivalente en montage ou en infographie d'une école technique ou expérience de travail équivalente
  • 6-8 ans d'expérience comme assistant.e
  • Expérience en gestion de fichiers raw de caméra, synchronisation et application de profil de couleur (LUT) dans DaVinci Resolve pour utilisation dans Adobe Premiere et Avid Media Composer
  • Connaissance de EditShare, Premiere, Davinci Resolve, After Effects
  • Connaissance de la suite Pro tools, Flame un atout
  • Connaissance de différents codecs vidéo
  • Connaissance de l'équipement vidéo et de la caméra, un atout
  • Connaissance de l'installation d'une diffusion en direct (livestreaming), un atout
  • Connaissances techniques de l'équipement de postproduction (caméra, salle des serveurs, câblage, connexions)
  • Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit (Collaborateurs et clients à l'échelle internationale).

    ROLE

    As an Assistant Editor, you will work closely with the Montreal post-production team. You will play an integral role in the team, helping to make sure that all post projects run smoothly. You will also be given projects to edit themselves and you will report to the Technical lead.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage projects in the editing rooms: import / logging / process logs / etc.
  • Perform technical review of the camera sources.
  • Compress videos in various formats according to customer specifications.
  • To be the editor's technical support during the work session.
  • Meeting the needs of import / export during the editing sessions, or any other editor's request.
  • Build, manage and distribute all elements for the finishing stages for use in the audio mix, colour transfer, final graphics, VFX and CG work.
  • Perform verification and quality control of the edits ensuring consistency.
  • Ensure, when a project is done, to clean it up in order to archive it.
  • Create final deliverables in various resolutions and video/audio codecs (i.e. UHD, HD, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, etc.).
  • Maintain, prepare and organize the Audio/Video equipment.
  • Help the Technical lead or the Technical director with specific project.

    • REQUIREMENTS

  • DEC in ATM or equivalent technical school certification in film editing or computer graphics, or equivalent work experience.
  • 6-8 years of experience as an Assistant Editor.
  • Experience in managing raw camera media, transcoding, syncing and adding LUTs in DaVinci Resolve for use in Adobe Premiere and Avid Media Composer.
  • Knowledge of EditShare, Premiere, Davinci Resolve, After Effects
  • Knowledge of Pro tools, Flame an asset.
  • Knowledge of different video codec.
  • Knowledge of video gear and camera, an asset.
  • Knowledge of livestreaming setup, an asset.
  • Technical knowledge on post-production equipment (camera, machine room, patch).
  • Fluent in French and English, both verbal and written (International collaborators and customers).
