Quality Assurance to join our Quality Assurance
team Our Manager, Quality Assurance will lead various quality assurance initiatives and ensure that all quality requirements are met before our product reaches our customers.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • You have strong knowledge and/or certification in HACCP, quality assurance and control
  • You have excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis methods

EXPERIENCE

  • You have proven experience leading a quality assurance team in a food production facility
  • You have experience leading teams across multiple facilities and types of manufacturing and shipping receiving
  • You have a degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry or other relevant education

NICE-TO-HAVE

  • You have experience solving complex QA/QC technical issues
  • You have experience in the baking or grains processing industry

THINGS YOU WILL DO

  • Lead in QA functions for all of One Degree's manufacturing across all facilities.
  • Lead in QA functions of all shipping and receiving for all One Degree ingredients and finished goods and materials
  • Monitor overall QA schedule
  • Support senior management through provision of timely reports, analysis of trends and recommendations
  • Oversee internal audits, inspection processes, and reporting
  • Troubleshoot and solve product quality related issues
  • Build cooperation across all functions to move food safety programs and objectives forward
  • Assist in resolving product quality related issues and responding in a timely manner to customer complaints
  • Ensure HACCP and Food Safety systems are updated and current with changes in the plant, ingredients, and suppliers
  • Review performance of QA Technicians and provide training/coaching

OTHER

  • You are willing to work flexible shifts to cover for vacations, sick days or leave if required.
  • You will ensure that the company QA functions will always be covered
  • Other duties as assigned
