    Job Title:
    Mechanical Engineering Designer

    Edmonton/Calgary/Red Deer (Remote, hybrid)

    Experience Level: 3-5+ years

    Mechanical engineering background or related education

    Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop mechanical components, with a focus on pumps and fittings for oil and gas applications.

    Utilize CAD, SolidWorks, or similar 3D modeling software to create detailed models and drawings based on specifications provided by the manager.

    Work closely with the leadership team to refine process designs and develop basic drawings, incorporating senior input and guidance.

    Translate conceptual designs into detailed engineering drawings and PNID.
    Actively engage in problem-solving, asking pertinent questions to ensure thorough understanding of project requirements.
    Gradually assume ownership of technical and engineering aspects of projects, taking on increasing responsibilities over time.
    Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
    ~3+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
    ~ Proficiency in CAD and/or SolidWorks software for 3D modeling and drafting.
    ~ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.
    ~ Located near Edmonton/Calgary/Red Deer with the flexibility to work remotely.
