    Responsibilities

    • The TRA resource will use risk management best practices to identify, analyze, evaluate and document CSDS risks to both the requesting departmental service/project and, from a high level, other impacted projects and services.
    • Will have to review/analyse results from other available and relevant TRAs or security scans conducted as part of the project.
    • Produce a Threat Risk Assessment Report that includes recommendations to manage identified ICTS risks assessed as High or Critical to the departmental service/project.
    • The SAPMP will share any relevant and suitable assessment results provided by any relevant resource.
    • Work under the direct supervision of the SAPMP Technical Architect.
    • It is the responsibility of the department to accept any or all CSDS risks identified in the Threat and Risk Assessment (TRA) Report.
    • The Enterprise Architect will act as the conduit and contact for any engagement needed between the TRA Consultant and the respective vendors.
    • Collaborate with both technical and functional teams to ensure the solution is feasible and meets business needs.
    • Provide guidance on risk mitigation, and efficient resource allocation during the program execution.
    Qualifications


    • The proponent should include a brief description of previous Threat Risk Assessment work within the last 3 years (with references and contact information)
    The ideal candidate must demonstrate the following skills and experience:


    • Must have relevant subject matter experience.
    • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated IT related experience within one or more of the following fields: IT Infrastructure, IT Networks, IT Systems, Cyber Security/Risk Management, Enterprise Architecture, Privacy, Data
    • Centers, Telecommunications and/or Cloud Service delivery.
    • Demonstrated experience in conducting Information, Communications, and Technology service TRAs with preference given to those developed in the relevant subject matter within the last 5 years.
    • Experience facilitating workshops and bringing stakeholder groups to consensus.
    • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong writing skills to produce accurate and comprehensive documentation.
    • Must have a minimum of 12 months experience with the Province of Nova Scotia in a SAP architecture design role .

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Prior experience, in a TRA role, with the Province of Nova Scotia;
    • Prior experience completing a TRA related to SAP ECC and or SAP S/4Hana solutions.
    • Familiarity with secondary SAP cloud-based systems (Solution Manager, Ariba etc).
    • Federal Government of Canada ITSG-33 Protected B Requirements experience.
