About the role
Join CMHC's Finance Team in the Bilingual Specialist, Corporate Planning and Reporting position.

As a member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team and in collaboration with internal and Treasury Board Secretariat/Central Agency stakeholders, you will be a key contributor to enterprise-wide management reporting, forecasting, planning and process improvement projects.


This is a temporary position of a duration of 12 months.

What you'll do:


  • Supporting business partners in developing the corporate plan and generating management reporting on the performance of our business.
  • Interpreting and challenging financial and nonfinancial information to communicate key information that serves a variety of audiences.
  • Supporting governance committees with reporting and presentations.
  • Supporting enterprisewide forecasting and operating budget management.

What you should have:


  • Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in financial planning/budgeting and forecasting or finance business partnering.
  • Experience preparing management reporting, corporate plans and annual reports.
  • Ability to analyze information, interpret risks and communicate the key messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong financial planning/budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • Bilingual in both official languages (French and English).

It would be great if you also had:

  • CPA designation.
  • Experience with zerobased budgeting.
  • Experience working with Treasury Board Secretariat.
