As a leader of the Compounding team, you will ensure the Compounding department is working efficiently and effectively while delivering a quality product in a safe and clean environment.


Shifts Available:

Afternoon Shift 2:30pm - 10:45pm


As a Compounding Team Leader, you will:

  • Supervise the shifts performance of the Compounding Department including safety, cGMP compliance, planning/scheduling, product quality and output.
  • Plan and coordinate labour, equipment and facility requirements to meet objectives.
  • Manage and improve the profitability, output and efficiency of the department (shift).
  • Implement various manufacturing operational projects to improve compounding operations.
  • Administer employee health program, safety and WHMIS.
  • Coordinate pilot batches and participate in troubleshooting problem batches.
  • Manage the Compounding inventory system (Assist Scheduling).
  • Develop and improve effective and efficient manufacturing procedures and methods.
  • Ensure FIFO is respected.
  • Oversee the implementation of manufacturing equipment startup and operation.
  • Develop batch instructions based on GMP regulations.
  • Maintain alcohol handling systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Assign daily and weekly duties to Compounders and Compounder Helpers.
  • Maintain and monitor various processes including ROwater, Boilerroom, Waste Pit, Surfactant silos, tote sanitization, equipment cleaning and sanitization.
  • Provide technical support to other departments such as production and QC.

Qualifications:


  • 1+ years of supervision experience.
  • 2+ years of compounding experience an asset.
  • Knowledge of GMP's, Health & Safety, WHIMS.
  • Excellent organizational, planning and leadership skills.
  • B.Sc. in Sciences an asset
  • Excellent communication and written skills
