Position Summary:

The
Clinical Research Analyst requires past experience in the coordination and administration of clinical research studies. Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, recruitment of study participants (e.g.

identifying, screening potential participants & obtaining informed consent); coordinating patient visit schedules as per study protocol; assisting/coordinating all aspects of study visits (e.g.

documentation of adverse events & medications, administration of questionnaires, sample collection including venipuncture, sample processing & shipping, etc.); reviewing & assessing study-related documents; liaising with sponsors, external stakeholders & members of the clinical care team; implementing and coordinating all aspects of data collection and source documentation, as per UHN policy and ICH/GCP guidelines; executing study-related administrative tasks, such as completion of relevant study CRFs, logs, trackers, databases, etc.; provide support for monitoring /audits and regulatory inspections.

The
Clinical Research Analyst **must be able to interpret applicable regulations to ensure compliance during the conduct of the study.

Description

  • At minimum, a completion of a Bachelor's degree program, or recognized equivalent in Health or Science Related Discipline. Graduate degree preferred
  • Certification as a Clinical Research Professional an asset
  • Interests or experience with educational curriculum planning or implementation welcomed
  • Technology, engineering background may be particularly useful for this position
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a research environment. Demonstrated relevant clinical research knowledge, previous experience in GU is an asset
  • Knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines
  • Knowledge of IATA shipping regulations and basic laboratory procedures an asset
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable clinical research regulations, policies, and guidelines
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to set priorities and work independently with accuracy in a multitasking environment
  • Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
  • Strong Proficiency with MS Office software, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience working with databases, conducting interviews and speaking with patients/ participants
