This is an exciting new role for an assistant manager working for a new concept store.

Assist the manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient and effective functioning of the business
Provide support in training and development of staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Supervise team members to ensure they are performing their duties effectively and meeting performance targets
Implement sales management strategies to maximize revenue and achieve sales goals
Manage payroll processes, including tracking hours worked, calculating wages, and ensuring accuracy of payments
Assist in recruiting and hiring new employees, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions
Provide administrative support to the manager, including handling correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining records

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or customer service environment
Strong market knowledge and understanding of industry trends
Excellent training and development skills to enhance the capabilities of the team
Proven ability in supervising and managing a team effectively
Experience in sales management, including implementing strategies to drive sales growth
Proficiency in payroll processes and systems
Bilingual skills (if applicable) to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
