The Retail, National Accounts Intern will be responsible for assisting the National Account Manager with managing Retail customers, which include Grocery, Mass Merchant, Wholesale and Drugstore accounts.
The Retail, National Accounts Intern will be responsible for a variety of sales initiatives planned for 2023, both internal and external.
This role involves attending customer meetings and conducting research & analysis to look for opportunities to drive sales and increase profitability.
The Internship Program is run in Toronto, at our HQ.Our modern office environment combines spaces for creativity and playfulness where you will find everything you need to give wings to your ideas.
CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT:
Provide routine and ad-hoc reporting and analysis to the National Account Manager to identify opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness of local teams
Assist with various business development activities including customer meetings
Maintain and enhance internal sales records and external tracking templates
Assist with new product and campaign launches
SUPPORT MERCHANDISING PLANS:
Assist National Account Manager with developing customer presentations and strategic business plans
Track Red Bull product listings, shelf space and ongoing merchandising plans, including performance
Monitor and analyze promotional pricing performance
Track and analyze post-campaign results and provide recommendations for improvement
CUSTOMER & COMPETITIVE RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS:
Conduct store checks and drive tool audits with summarized findings
Participate in monthly Area Sales Manager trade days at Distribution Partner locations
Monitor and record competitors pricing, promotion and in-store execution activity
Qualifications:
University - Bachelor's Degree in Business (or related field) - In Progress or Completed
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical skills & problem-solving skills/willingness to hone and develop these skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
