    À titre de conseiller principal en conformité juridique et réglementaire, vous contribuez à la conception, le déploiement et la coordination du cadre de conformité et au respect de la réglementation liée. Vous participez aux activités qui visent à rendre les mesures comme les comportements des dirigeants et du personnel au sein de l'organisation comme vis-à-vis de tiers conformes aux normes applicables au sein du Mouvement. (incluant la lutte au blanchiment d'argent)

    Vous assumez un rôle de leadership auprès des différents intervenants dans le cadre de dossiers et projets portant sur du développement et des interventions stratégiques et complexes, à caractère novateur. La nature des dossiers exige des connaissances étendues et approfondies dans votre domaine de spécialité.

    Vous formulez des recommandations relatives au développement et à la réalisation de dossiers ou projets à complexité opérationnelle et conceptuelle élevée nécessitant une analyse et une compréhension globale et détaillée du domaine d'affaires et de l'organisation. Les arrimages sont nombreux et vous êtes appelés et à interagir avec un grand nombre de parties prenantes œuvrant dans des domaines d'expertise variés. La maîtrise des relations interpersonnelles devient alors une compétence essentielle.

    Vous exercez un rôle de spécialiste-conseil et de contenu dans votre domaine de spécialité et agissez à titre de personne-ressource et de coach auprès d'instances décisionnelles.

    This position is within a subsidiary of the Desjardins Group called Collabria Financial Inc. Collabria is a Canadian credit card issuer offering white-label card programs to Canadian credit unions that serve their consumer and commercial members. As a client-centric provider, Collabria focuses on delivering convenient, secure and valuable credit card programs. This helps the credit unions develop broader and deeper relationships with their members and help them stay competitive against the big banks. Our services give credit unions the ability to personalize product offerings with their brands and enhance the overall experience for their members. As a senior legal and regulatory compliance advisor, you work autonomously and are self-driven. You will help design, institute and coordinate the compliance framework and enforce related rules. You help ensure that oversight measures comply with Collabria's standards. You lead development projects and strategic initiatives that are complex and innovative. Your initiatives require extensive knowledge of your specialty area. You serve as specialist advisor and subject matter expert, as well as resource person and coach for decision-making bodies. You will be required to :

  • Lead specialized development projects, initiatives and activities that significantly impact the entire organization.
  • You make recommendations on the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects and initiatives that require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in many other fields.
  • Identify, analyze and diagnose major issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies.
  • Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs to support your unit's strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Offer legal and regulatory compliance programs to internal employees to promote our culture of ethics and compliance.
  • Represent Collabria's position when making agreements with external partners and organizations.

    What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
  • Proficient knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering Legislation
  • Proficient knowledge of Federal & Provincial Privacy acts
  • Knowledge of Desjardins Archer software
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with (language)-speaking partners, members and/or clients.
