AutoPlanet Brampton is looking for a
Marketing Manager to join their dynamic team.

The Marketing Manager assumes a highly collaborative position, working with AutoPlanet Direct.

This role works to create and execute thoughtful marketing plans; actively manage SEM and SEO campaigns; review budgets and measurements to ensure efficacy; and contribute to overall marketing strategy.

They will collaborate with several cross-team support roles, to contribute their energy and ideas to campaigns, and devote their particular area of expertise to execution.

This is a supervisory, management-level position. Engaging, empowering team leadership skills are a must.

Strong verbal and written communications skills are required for the building of relationships within the community and the development of partnerships.

Here's what you'll deliver:

For all brands associated with our Innovation portfolio, the Marketing Manager takes responsibility for the following key functions:

  • Liaise to develop annual marketing budgets and strategies, quarterly strategy updates, and monthly marketing plans in order to drive leads into our showrooms
  • Leadership to our marketing team;
  • Formulation of campaigns and associated creative elements, including advertisements, websites, landing pages, social media, contests, presentations, and other printed and digital media;
  • A strong career focus on digital marketing, including search engine marketing, digital display, behavioral, social, and native is highly valued;
  • Community engagement campaigns to drive brand awareness
  • Develop creative marketing campaign concepts and strategies that meet the business objectives of the organization;
  • Create compelling and consistent projects from inception to completion; including websites, landing pages, online ads, videos, etc.
  • Projectmanage team involvement: brainstorming, concepting, planning, and delivering campaigns, events, and other activities, on schedule;
  • Negotiate media buys as required;
  • Ensure web content is uptodate, search engine friendly, correctly targeted and optimized for multiple devices;
  • Oversee event marketing;
  • Participate in seeking partnership opportunities and evaluating community sponsorships;
  • Measure and report on all marketing campaigns and mediums, including websites, adwords, and chat;
  • Other duties as required or directed.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or significant directly related experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a marketing professional with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role working directly with a team
  • Proven track record with successful campaigns
  • Ability to complete projects within timelines
  • Ability to lead a team on a day to day basis
  • Google AdWords certification.
  • Social Media management
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and oral.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • High energy and vision.
  • Strong ingrained focus on proper planning and measurement.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and analytics is required; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other marketing tools and systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive, supportive team environment.
  • Ability to establish strong, sustainable relationships with internal clients, external vendors and partners.
