Job Overview:

Duties:


  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of employmentrelated legislation and ensures compliance with government regulations.
  • Plans and conducts new employee orientations to foster a positive attitude toward company goals and an effective handoff to operations.
  • Prepare and process payroll using ADP, while adhering to established pay cycles and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate employee related records such as new hires, changes in salary, promotions, leaves, and terminations on internal HRIS and benefits portal.
  • Facilitates and documents employee engagement meetings.
  • Responds to employee inquiries of moderate complexity regarding policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Manages nonexempt recruiting activities and exempt recruiting through firstlevel supervisory roles, including organizing and executing job fairs.
  • Conduct employee investigations and recommend appropriate resolution.
  • Manages leave of absence process, unemployment claims and hearings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Post Secondary degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Proven experience in HR functions such as high level talent acquisition, training development, payroll, leave management, and employee relation
  • Familiarity with ADP payroll
  • Strong understanding of Canadian employment related Legislation
  • Ability to adapt to change and support organizational growth
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
$70,000.00-$83,000.00 per year
