Perform a variety of duties related to the coordination of human resources tasks, related to staffing, benefits administration, compensation, payroll, labour relations and records management.

Provide information related to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Responsible for the Generic HR mailbox.
  • Respond to general questions concerning human resources policies and procedures
  • Assist with the preparation of human resources related requests. Gather relevant documentation for supervisor (Bill 90 report, Faculty Council FMHS, Awards, Recognitions, Performance Dialogue )
  • Prepare postings on external job board
  • Prepare the annual vacation spreadsheet for the HR team
  • Help coordinate the onboarding process for Deanery units and appropriate departments in the Administrative Excellence Centers
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agenda, take minutes and follow up on action required.
  • Coordinate the organization of meetings, trainings, workshops, conferences and seminars. Liaise with internal units and external organizations.
  • Be the main contact with translator. Coordinate all the translation requests. Be the liaison between the Staffing Advisor/ Manager and the translator and followup with finance on the invoices received from the translator.
  • Update the Listserv, Staff Directory and Website as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

  • Minimum Education and Experience:

Annual Salary:
(MPEX Grade 01) $45, $52, $60,920.00
