Objectives and Description:

Spirit Healthcare Group is looking for an Account Manager in our Distribution - Medical Supplies & Equipment Department.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has excellent customer service skills and sales experience, and who values teamwork, reliability, high energy, efficiency, compassion, and being involved in the day-to-day business.

The Account Manager will be reporting to the Director of MS&E and will be supporting the Medical Supplies & Equipment Department by acting as the liaison between the company and our customers.

Responsibilities include overseeing sales orders, maintaining current customers, sourcing new customers, and handling Accounts Receivables.

This role will contribute to the following areas:

Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain current customers by monitoring ordering schedules and handling inquiries and complaints, as well as increasing sales with the customer
  • Source new customers via cold calling and community visits
  • Making sales by upselling, selling old stock, pushing sales flyers and trying to sell all categories of products
  • Advise customers when products are available and/or when their order is shipping
  • Overseeing sales orders and being aware of product availability and shipping schedules

Qualifications:


  • Experience working in sales and customer service
  • Attention to detail, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to multitask
  • Professional level communication skills
  • Quick thinking and resolution focused
  • Knowledge of transportation/airline delivery, dangerous goods (both air & ground)
  • Understanding of freight charges
  • Awareness of Indigenous Culture and knowledge of the communities considered an asset

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:


  • Majority office hours: 8:30am 4:30pm Monday to Friday with flexibility to accommodate clients/external stakeholders as needed
  • Large Corporate Pharmacy and office environment, shipping and receiving
  • Intermittent lifting of less than 50lbs
  • Inclusive work environment and Team culture
  • Alternating sitting, walking and standing, forklift support is an asset
  • Comfortable work station
  • Flexibility in schedule as needed for business purposes

Pay:
$35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
