Deveraux Developments is seeking a Carpenter to join our expanding team in Calgary.

What you bring...

  • A minimum of 5 years of carpentry experience
  • Experience with wood framing is required
  • Concrete experience is an asset
  • Zoom Boom or Skid Steer experience is an asset
  • Preferred Journeyman Certification or Red Seal Status, or working towards
  • A valid Driver's License
  • Willing to work weekends and overtime
  • Be physically fit for demanding nature of job
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to follow direction and work with mínimal supervision
  • The ability to direct/train and work alongside a helper or apprentice
  • Strong organizational and effective time management skills
  • Able to safely operate relevant machinery and equipment
  • First Aid qualification is an asset
You will...

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Accurately record and maintain relevant paperwork
  • Ensure work meets quality control standards
  • Participate in a safe work culture
  • Report concerns and safety hazards to supervisor in a timely manner
  • Comply with all standard operating procedures and policies of Deveraux Development
  • Perform other related duties assigned by the Construction Site Manager
