The position of Associate, ESG offers a unique opportunity for someone with a strong interest in sustainable investing to work collaboratively across both the research and client service teams.

The Associate will assist senior investment professionals in the execution of key functions, while having the opportunity to drive innovation through special projects.

Key Responsibilities

Support proxy voting operations and research
Prepare portfolio level ESG metrics (e.g. carbon footprint)
Analyze investee practices in areas such as climate and diversity, equity and inclusion
Maintain eligible issuer lists for ESG focused investment strategies
Support external ESG reporting requirements
Actively pursues effective and efficient operation

Education / Experience / Other Information

Bachelor or Master degree with a preference for Sustainable Business/Finance
03 years of work experience (investment industry experience preferred)
Organized with meticulous attention to details
Strong numeracy skills essential
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Willingness to learn and adapt to changes
Reliable with a good sense of judgment
Strong knowledge of Excel and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work well under pressure and multitask
Experience with Financial and ESG analysis and related tools (Excel, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, MSCI, etc.)
Capacity to learn new systems and processes
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
