POSITION MANDATE:


The AAD and SharePoint Online Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and assistance for Azure Active Directory (AAD) and SharePoint Online.

The specialist ensures the smooth operation and optimization of these critical cloud-based platforms within the organization.

The role involves collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to address user issues, implement best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the digital infrastructure.


REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:


Technical:

AAD Administration:

  • Manage and maintain Azure Active Directory (AAD) services, including user and group management, permissions, and security configurations.
  • Assist in the implementation of AAD features, such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), conditional access, and Azure AD Connect.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AADrelated issues, working closely with users and IT teams to provide timely solutions.

SharePoint Online Support:

  • Provide technical support for SharePoint Online, the cloudbased collaboration and document management platform.
  • Collaborate with endusers to understand their needs, troubleshoot problems, and offer guidance on SharePoint Online functionalities and best practices.
  • Assist in the creation, management, and customization of SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and permissions.
  • Monitor and optimize SharePoint Online performance, ensuring the availability and reliability of the platform.

Administration and Financial:

Documentation and Training:

  • Develop and maintain documentation, guidelines, and standard operating procedures related to AAD and SharePoint Online administration and support.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on AAD and SharePoint Online functionalities, promoting best practices and efficient utilization of these platforms.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including IT, security, and business units, to align AAD and SharePoint Online services with organizational objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on AAD and SharePoint Onlinerelated projects, issues, and improvements.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Ensuring the efficient management and maintenance of Azure Active Directory (AAD) and SharePoint Online services.
  • Providing timely technical support and issue resolution for AAD and SharePoint Online users.
  • Assisting in the implementation of AAD features and SharePoint Online functionalities to enhance user experience and security.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation and training materials for AAD and SharePoint Online usage.

Job Scope:

The AAD and SharePoint Online Support Specialist will focus on cloud-based solutions, specifically Azure Active Directory (AAD) and SharePoint Online.

The role involves working closely with users and IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, optimize performance, and implement best practices.

The specialist will contribute to enhancing the organization's digital infrastructure and facilitating effective collaboration through these platforms.

The incumbent works in an office environment and in the server room.
