The Biologics Manufacturing Centre (BMC) Inc. is a new biomanufacturing facility whose construction was completed in June 2021.

The BMC supports the expansion of the country's biologics manufacturing capacity, ensuring that vaccines and other related products can be safely manufactured at home.

BMC is designed to create biopharmaceuticals such as viral vector, protein subunit and virus-like particle vaccines and other biologics.

We are looking for a
s, who will be responsible for performing chemical and physical analyses in a GMP environment.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Quality Control, Raw Materials, the
Quality Control Analyst, Raw Material will be responsible for:

Performing analyses of raw materials and/or packaging components by TLC, UV, IR, HPLC, GC, etc., wet chemistry techniques, according to SOPs
Compiling, interpreting, and recording data according to the necessary documentation, and document preparations according to SOPs and GMPs.
Ensuring data integrity and quality in the quality control laboratory.
Participating in the development and/or validation of analytical methods.
Participating in or lead investigations of nonconformities and OOS/OOT results.
Sampling raw materials, packaging components and storing them under specific conditions according to method.

You are the person we are looking for if:

You have at least a Bachelor's degree in biochemistry
You have a minimum of two (2) years' professional experience as a raw materials analyst in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment.
You are familiar with the techniques and use of standard instruments (pH meter, viscometer, KF, UV, IR, HPLC, GC, titration, etc.).
You are comfortable with technology (LabX, Microlab, Empower, Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.).
You are familiar with analytical methods verification and validation practices and guidelines.
You are able to express yourself in French and read in English.
