Overview:


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee operations at the Braai House & Braai Bar.

As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurants, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.


Duties:


  • Manage all aspects of the restaurant, including staff supervision, inventory management, and financial performance
  • Train and mentor staff members to provide exceptional customer service
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of food items to ensure consistency and quality
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues in a timely manner
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain adequate supplies
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to develop new menu items and specials
  • Implement cost control measures to maximize profitability
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, provide feedback, and address any concerns

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Proficient in POS systems and other restaurant management software
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry and current food trends
  • Cash handling experience is preferred
  • Experience in kitchen operations or as a cook is a plus

Pay:
From $55,000.00 per year
