    • Position Summary

    To continue to fuel our growth, we are seeking a Software Engineer to join as a key contributor to our Document Verification (DocV) engineering team. Trulioo's DocV engineering team is responsible for developing a distributed cloud platform that supports production API services, big data infrastructure, and processes machine learning. Trulioo utilizes the best available tools, instruments, and practices to create a world class platform and we are looking for the talent that will help us stay on the cutting edge of technology. This is a full-time position located in our Vancouver office and will report to our Manager, Engineering.

    What you will be doing:

  • Applying cutting edge technologies to modern cloud application development
  • Collaborating with UX and Product Management to craft customer-focused solutions and forward-looking product strategy
  • Working with a team of high-performance software engineers to architect, design and deliver new products and user experiences
  • Working closely with senior technical team to keep the technology competitive and up to date
  • Owning a product release from discovery to deployment

    • You have:

  • 2+ years of professional programming experience
  • Proficient in one or more modern programming languages. (e.g. C#, Java, Javascript, etc.)
  • Experience with REST API's and 3rd party system integration
  • Experience with microservice architecture and design patterns
  • High technical standards demonstrated using design patterns, clean coding, peer reviews, and unit testing
  • Proficient in agile software development and good collaboration skills with multiple teams
  • Meeting deadlines while effectively managing priorities and communicating progress
  • A mentor who brings out the best in their team and helps them grow

  • Experience with database for collecting metrics for data analytics (SQL and noSQL)
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure and services for code deployment

    We take a market-based and data driven approach to compensation. We leverage data from trusted third-party compensation sources to help us understand the market value of a role based on function, level, location and scope.

    Please view the base salary range for this role below. The range listed is our expected compensation for the role. However, the pay offered may vary depending on a variety of factors including qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.

    Annual Salary$80,000—$110,000 CAD
