- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on a variety of trucks to ensure they meet safety and operational standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components or systems, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of the trucks and minimize breakdowns.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities using the company's systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and address urgent repair needs to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in the maintenance facility.
- Previous experience as a Truck Mechanic is preferred but not required.
- Certification in Diesel Mechanics or a related field is preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of modern truck systems, engines, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
