We are currently recruiting for a
Junior Project Manager for our Calgary based office.


Job Summary:

The Junior Project Manager is responsible to organize and coordinate all aspects of the assigned project(s).

He/she shall collaborate daily with the Project Manager to complete the work safely, on schedule, within the budget and to the specified quality of workmanship.

The Junior Project Manager serves as Centurion's representative on the project and shall protect and promote Centurion's interests in all matters and to do whatever is reasonably necessary to execute his/her duties.


Summary of Essential Responsibilities:


  • Plan, organize, and direct projectrelated operations in the company.
  • Define the scope of projects.
  • Develop project objectives, budgets, and schedules.
  • Develop and maintain project controls.
  • Delegate tasks and resources to ensure the project is delivered according to plan.
  • Monitor and document project progress to ensure ontime and onbudget delivery.
  • Report project results to clients and management.
  • Assist senior project manager with clerical tasks as requested.
  • Supervise a project until it is completed.
  • Coordinate the activities of a team of professionals and technicians for the purpose of
achieving the goal of a given project.

  • Provide administrative guidance on project execution.

Minimum requirements:


  • Engineering Degree or EIT is a requirement, an equivalent combination of
education and experience may be considered.

  • Project Controls background.
  • Cost Controls Background.
  • Experience and training in P6 Primavera scheduling.
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft word, Excel, and scheduling software (MS Projects, Excel)
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work on location when required.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, reliable,
dependable, sound judgment skills, and general computer knowledge


Qualifications:


  • Must pass preemployment drug and alcohol testing including marijuana.
  • Must be fitforduty.
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Must be immediately eligible/able to work in Canada.
