This position is responsible for providing support to the Business Advisor in order to provide a premium level of service to assigned business clients.

Key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Builds a strong partnership with the Business Advisors by establishing highly efficient administrative processes and relationship building techniques to ensure business growth and overall work quality.
  • Effectively utilizes our Client Experience Management (CEM) system in providing a premium level of service to our business clients.
  • Ensures accurate collection and recording of required business information in CEM for AML, KYC and marketing purposes.
  • Processes client transactions efficiently and accurately, including opening new accounts, following up with deficiencies and administering changes to existing accounts. Responds to a variety of client requests as required.
  • Performs administrative tasks to support Business Advisors and to maximize the group's contribution and productivity. This includes administration/input of loans/mortgages, credit reviews, reporting, scheduling, and any other tasks related to portfolio management.
  • Assists Advisors with sales and referral tracking and follows up on outstanding opportunities.
  • Processes the Business Group's Annual Line of Credit Reviews under supervision of the Advisors.
  • Assists Advisors in the monthly LOC margin reporting process by collecting reports and assisting with completion of margin card.
  • Liaises with other departments such as Credit Approvals, Legal, Lending Services, Real Estate Lending Group and Leasing as needed to provide a premium level of service to our assigned business clients.
  • Assists Advisors with opportunities and preparation for proactive contacts. Completes proactive contacts as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2 years' experience in the financial services industry
  • Basic understanding of lending practices and procedures
  • Mobility to move between SeatoSky branches
  • Investment and credit sales experience an asset
  • Knowledge of BlueShore Financial investment products/procedures and core banking products an asset
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration/Financial Services an asset

Pay Transparency


Pay transparency is an important characteristic of our recruitment process and overall BlueShore culture which supports a diverse, equitable and inclusive workforce.

The target range of this role is $56,000 - $65,000, plus competitive performance bonus. Employment offers are determined by knowledge, experience and internal equity.
