Apprentice
Motorcycle Technician with experience servicing Motorcycles, ATVs, SxS Vehicles and Power Equipment to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide prompt, dependable, and highquality service (internal & external).
Complete repair and service work within the scheduled or allotted time period whenever possible. Continually improve "efficiency" skills.
Maintain productivity (time spent working on billable jobs) as close to 100% as possible.
Accept work assignments from Service Advisor, Manager, and shop foreperson.
Request parts for the job as early as possible when needs become known.
Perform service, repair, and customization work in accordance with factory specifications.
Assist Service Advisor, when requested, with writing up work orders, communication with customers, test riding, or any other issue which will help ensure customer satisfaction.
Notify the Service Advisor/Manager of additional work needed or any delays in expected completion as soon as they become known so that customers may be contacted and notified of the delay.
After the job is finished ensure proper completion and filing of paperwork.
Maintain technical qualification by completing any necessary training programs assigned to you by the Service Manager.
Maintain a clean, professional, and efficient work area, and help keep the shop clean

Required Skills and Experience

2+ years experience in a Powersports / motorcycle dealership.
310G Motorcycle Technician License or first/secondyear apprentice.
Current GM license with clean drivers abstract
Completion of a factory authorized training program or equivalent work experience
Service Technicians need both basic and special tools to properly diagnose and service our products. All Service Technicians are required to own a set of tools within 30 days of hire.
Honda Powersports experience an asset but not mandatory.
Basic computer skills
