Job Summary:


We are hiring for a seasoned and skilled
Document Control & Configuration Analyst in
Lenexa KS. This requisition is looking for a Document Control and Configuration Analyst who will focus on change management, maintaining the different configurations in our ERP and PLM systems and record keeping.

The DC / Configuration Analyst will be in close contact with the engineering department and other departments within the own business unit, like Operations, Supply Chain, Product Support etc.

The DC / Configuration Analyst is also expected to work closely with the engineering teams in The Netherlands and The Philippines and other business units located in Lenexa, KS, USA.

The DC / Configuration Analyst will report to the supervision of the Supervisor DC & CM.

Position is classified as "Hybrid"


Hybrid:

Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader. An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

Job Summary

  • Monitoring the Change Management process, conducting Change Review Board meetings and Change Implementation Board meetings.
  • Release and approve drawings and documents in the PLM system.
  • Maintaining Engineering Bill of Materials and Manufacturing Bill of Materials in ERP and PLM systems
  • Performing PLM and ERP audits
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Program Management, Engineering and Certification.
  • Provide supplemental support for engineers as needed.
  • Sees opportunities for improvement
  • Works autonomously with limited oversight from manager
  • Influences others within the work area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices
  • Experience working in a fast paced, everchanging environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and 2+ years of Document Control and Configuration experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 6+ years of Document Control and Configuration experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of design/project/quotation experience
  • Prior experience in commercial aircraft products is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Familiarity with FAA requirements is a plus.
  • 1+ year of ERP and PLM systems (preferably JDE and TeamCenter) experience
