We are looking for a full-time, Customer Service Representative seeking long-term employment.

What you will do as a Customer Service Representative:

  • Acting as the point of contact for customer service, coordinating the various steps of the intake process.
  • Investigating preliminary issues and communicating important facts to manager, sales, Vice President of Sales.
  • Evaluate orders to ensure customer specifications meet Tempo's capabilities.
  • Create and issue sales orders (dockets) to production or scheduling for all orders (repeat, modified and new).
  • Follow all Tempo Flexible Packaging policies, procedures, and practices in conjunction with all applicable legislation and regulations.
  • Participate in internal and external training as required.
  • Develop and maintain interpersonal relationships with customers, coworkers, and Management.
  • Enter orders into the custom manufacturing computer program TORI.
  • Coordinate artwork and plates for new and modified orders; customer approved PDF with another CSR to ensure the information is aligned with the sales order (dockets).
  • Perform data entry, filing, data maintenance and costing activities for customer accounts with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Run and send order action reports to select customers detailing items in stock, orders placed and completed jobs.
  • Run aged (90+ days) inventory reports for the purposes of inventory management; work with customers to move the aged inventory.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely fashion to facilitate customer satisfaction.
  • Obtain customer approval and/or directions for the disposal of plates.
  • Obtain customer direction and Tempo approval for inherited plates from other companies.
  • Communicate with the Scheduler & Shipper/Receiver regarding all modifications to delivery dates or rush orders.
  • Corresponds with customers and Account Managers regarding customer relation issues.
  • Issue a request to create a Corrective Action Report (CAR).
  • Generates Return Material Authorization (RMA).
  • Other duties, tasks and responsibilities may be assigned by TFP's Management.

Requirements:


  • Customer service experience within manufacturing required
  • Experience in flexible packaging preferred
  • High degree of attention to detail

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
