Overview:
KUBRA is in growth mode and currently seeking a talented Scrum Master to work with our Product Development Team


The Scrum Master will play a crucial role in driving the Agile software development process and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Primary responsibility will be to facilitate Agile ceremonies, effective communication, collaboration, and coordination within the engineering teams, enabling them to deliver value to our customers efficiently.

You will be a key driver in our mission to innovative software solutions built in the cloud.

This is a hybrid opportunity in Mississauga, ON.

  • Guide and coach, the teams on Agile principles, values, and practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum framework and Agile methodologies.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint demos, and retrospectives, ensuring that they are productive and aligned with team goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and selforganizing team environment, promoting open communication, trust, and continuous improvement
  • Remove any impediments or roadblocks that may hinder the team's progress and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to refine product backlog items, prioritize work, and ensure a clear understanding of requirements.
  • Track and report on team progress, velocity, and other relevant metrics to stakeholders and management.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and technologies related to Agile methodologies and Scrum.
  • Promote and foster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation within the engineering teams.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills necessary to get ideas across in a nonconfrontational manner

What skills do you need?:

  • 5+ years Project Management / Scrum Master experience with a proven track record of project successes.
  • Proven experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
  • Knowledge of products and technologies especially in billing and payments is an asset
  • Experience in the software development industry is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or other relevant Agile certifications
  • Indepth knowledge of Agile principles, values, and practices, particularly Scrum.
  • Proficiency in Project management tools such as JIRA
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with AWS and cloudbased technologies is a plus
