We're looking for our next Product Manager, InsurTech. Could It Be You?

The Product Manager will play a meaningful role in developing and executing on Questrade's vision, strategy and roadmap for InsurTech product.

You will be the voice of our customer in the product design — achieving both customer and market success.


The Product Manager will help manage the activities of the product team to maintain alignment of vision across all lines of business.

You will be part of a team that collaborates on all aspects of the InsurTech product management and product life-cycle, including product design, customer experience, pricing, product features and external partnerships to build market share and ensure Questrade creates and maintains a sustainable competitive advantage.


Your challenge will be to help the team build on the strong foundation of Questrade's existing B2C and B2B business and leverage capabilities and relationships to help achieve our goal of delivering a best in class and differentiated Digital Insurance platform as well as support the broader home-ownership experience for our customers.

You will play an important role in developing a vision and helping to make key decisions that champion the customer and maximize business value.

As the Product Manager, you will participate in crafting a strategy and translating it into tactical execution, taking this product to new heights and revolutionizing the Canadian Insurance offering.

Job responsibilities include:


  • Product Development Strategies and Roadmap: help ideate, design, develop, implement and manage the expansion of Questrade's InsurTech product solutions and any ancillary solutions and features over time (product roadmap).
  • Act as a bridge between execution and strategy; to translate strategy into actions.
  • Customer Experience: Represent Questrade's customers and prospects internally and externally and aid in the development/delivery of an integrated customer experience that exceeds their expectations and meets Questrade's standards. The Product Manager will do this by collaborating with the internal marketing teams to develop business requirements/user stories, and client journey roadmaps to ensure appropriate value add services are woven into the target customer experience.
  • Collaborate with QFG Product teams to realize synergies that are unique to the QFG ecosystem.
  • Able to filter through complex issues, find solutions, gain support and implement product change.
  • Align closely with the Ki UX designers to ensure they understand the product and customer vision. Align closely with Questrade CX practitioners to ensure any existing Customer Experiences are considering the interplay with Insurance. There needs to be design consideration for leading with Insurance.
  • Coordination and education: Act as SME to crossfunctional team members including Marketing, Technology, Operations, HR/Training and Legal, Risk and Compliance, and external partners to launch new product solutions and continue to manage and ensure sound business practices are applied and adhered to at all times

Marketing Strategy:
Collaborate with internal and external Marketing partners on a "go-to-market" strategy as needed. Available to help develop key customer communications and support initiatives.

  • Revenue optimization: Includes supporting pricing strategy reviews and daily pricing operations
  • Risk Management: Help review and develop/modify processes and procedures within product that align to competing in our target markets, and that align with delivering the customer and employee experience we are aiming for to drive quality business performance
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed with external competitive analysis and market segmen
