Responsibilities:


  • Able to work with unionized staff
  • Promote healthy communication and team spirit and Promote a culture of occupational health and safety
  • Communicate internally with staff and externally with our clients
  • Support and followup of the coaching of the local team
  • Able to work in a team
  • Able to manage stress
  • Be available
  • Possibility of travel two to three times a month
  • Enforce company and client policies and procedures
  • Provide occupational health and safety training and other programs
  • Assist in the management of occupational health and safety files and reports
  • Assists in the management of field investigations and assists in resolution
  • Assist in the preparation of investigation reports and corrective actions
  • Assist in the management of the Cognibox program
  • Carry out clerical work according to the expectations of the Health and Safety Coordinator
  • Assist in conducting internal hearings
  • Have permanent discretion

Qualifications:


Requirements:


  • Know the concepts of Health and Safety at work.
  • Mastery of the Office suite
  • A first experience in industry
  • Be organized
  • Be able to accept change

Assets:


  • Certificate in Health and Safety or Food Safety
  • Experience in occupational health and safety management
  • English/French bilingualism
  • A first experience in industry
