Business Development Representative

BlackBerry Radar is seeking a Business Development Representative to act as an extension of its sales and marketing organizations, generating qualified sales opportunities by responding to inbound interest via events, web inquiry, trade shows, digital, social and direct marketing initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Nurture and send marketing and sales literature to prospective clients
Generate and manage opportunities through highvolume reactive outbound calling and conducting precall preparation
Provide Marketing support and promote BlackBerry Radar sales events associated with, but not limited to conferences, tradeshows and webinars
Demonstrates success through sales lead acceptance and contribution to pipeline and revenue
Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual business objectives and metricbased target(s)
Stay uptodate on the latest BlackBerry products and services, industry best practices, and customer needs; attends applicable training, conferences, and learns new tools as needed Some administrative work may be required.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Bachelor's or high level degree preferred; relevant experience can be substituted for educational degree
Two years minimum of related experience in business to business (B2B) telesales, business development, and/or other related experience,
Transportation industry related experience preferred
Intermediate ability to generate leads over the phone
Intermediate ability to provide customerservice and build/maintain relationships
Effectively manages a large territory and multiple concurrent business processes
Effectively communicates in verbal and written form to various stakeholder's who have differing levels of technical knowledge.
