about this team

The Power of Educator team is on a journey to build a strategy and accompanying infrastructure to amplify the Power of the Educator.

This role drives the execution of workstreams and project goals across the Power of Educator Strategic Initiative, partnering with the P&C (HR) Department to implement change successfully.

They work with the key departments within P&C to drive the Power of Educator strategies forward, acting as the point of contact to keep the work moving forward
- driving the P&C roadmap, and docking in to support with strategy where required.


a day in the life:
what you'll do

  • Design implementation programs that elevate the experience and engagement of our people
  • Create a shared strategy for Educator Enablement over 25 years, and map critical enabler projects that support the enablement, engagement, and experience of our educators.
  • Partner with key teams that deliver projects and strategies that support educator enablement + engagement (Ex. Enabling technology, Total Rewards and compensation, Learning and Leadership, journey of the educator etc)
  • Consult on initiative strategy and delivery for initiatives that impact our educators
  • Build and maintain the EndtoEnd journey and accompanying investment strategy of the educator
  • Create and deliver presentations for multiple audiences across the organization, including Senior leadership, that articulate strategy and project planning
  • Lead our Educator Enablement programs within the Power of Educator strategic initiative over a multiyear period
  • Collaborate and inform the multiyear (25 years) Educator Enablement and experience strategy
  • Ensure Educator Enablement programming drives, innovates, and elevates educator experience & engagement strategy
  • Partner with Power of Educator team to consult on people experience strategies across the NA organization, primarily within P+C teams including Talent Activation, Talent Acceleration, People Practices, and Compensation
  • Partner with relevant teams to activate Power of Educator initiatives ensuring deliverables are executed in a quality way, on time and on budget, adjusting where needed
  • Work with key partners to build out Power of Educator Programs and initiative strategy and adjust where necessary based on learnings
  • Build strategy to scale Power of Educator Programs, including Educator Enablement, Evolution of Store Org, and/or other initiatives with P&C department
  • Lead complex and intersecting projects: manage timelines, communicate progress, identify risk, manage budgets, and deliverables
  • Collaboratively lead bodies of work through project phases, including ideation, testing, implementation, timeline, and project management
  • Lead crossfunctional meetings and maintain shared documents, files, resources in an organized and easy to access system
  • Represent the Power of the Educator, find synergies and champion programs while working with partners
  • Using lululemon's change methodology, create, and execute Power of Educator strategies to identify change impacts, assess readiness and develop change and learning activations
  • Manage and maintain tracking of financial budgets for the workstreams and programs
  • Work with crossfunctional partners to ensure invoices are submitted in a timely manner
  • Communicate any accruals necessary to finance partner
  • Audit, analyze, and evaluate initiatives postimplementation to ensure objectives have been met and key success metrics have been achieved.
  • Provide regular program updates to leader, team members and crossfunctional partners.
qualifications

  • Preferred Location: Vancouver (open to Toronto, Seattle, LA, Chicago, NYC)
  • 8 years of relative experience, preferably in a vertically integrated, global, specialty retail environment
  • Experience working with systems and/or with technical teams seen as an asset
  • Strong internal customer service skills paired with demonstrated experience understanding business needs/requirements into technology solutions
  • Ability to influence and manage conversations and meetings across the organization at multiple levels
  • Proven track record of managing multiple diverse projects within related field
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and operate under tight time constraints with a strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent interper
