Administration Service Specialist - 12 months

**Description: - Temporary Full Time- We are looking for an Administration Service Specialist, for 12months contract.- Reporting to the Underwriting Team Manager, Group Medical Underwriting, the Administration Service Specialist is responsible for administrative and supportive duties for the department.


What you will do:


  • Open, sort, process and audit incoming documents and outgoing mail (scanning, indexing, quality checks, etc.)
  • Liaise with internal/external contacts to confirm or obtain information
  • Send out customer letters
  • Process orders and invoices for 3rd party service providers
  • Maintain inventory of department supplies

What you will bring:


  • Post-Secondary education level or equivalent
  • Two years of work experience in an administrative role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High degree of organization
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience with data entry is an asset
  • Well versed and easily adaptable to new computer software such as inhouse data management systems and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Reliability Status security clearance this is a personnel security status that is required before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website.
  • The base salary for this position is between
    $33,400 minimum*:
  • $45,100 maximum** annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
