This fun summer role begins April 29, and runs until October 15, per hour.
Discounted hotel stays under Pursuit's lodging offerings, and discounted food & beverage and retail experiencesThe chance to work in an inclusive culture and make life-long friendsAccess to subsidized mental health and wellness resourcesOpportunities for career growth or future work at other Pursuit locationsAccess to one of the world's most beautiful and iconic National ParksWhat will you do in this job?:Maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen areas and dining areasWash, peel and cut vegetablesClean and cut meats, fish and poultryClean kitchen equipment and cooking utensilsPrepare, season, and cook foods such as soups, salads, meat, fish, gravies, vegetables, desserts, sauces and casseroles according to prescribed recipesCarve meats, prepare portions on plates, and add gravies, sauces and garnish to servingsPrepare items for buffetsPrepare special dietsStocking and maintenance of product levelServing on the cafeteria line as requiredCommunicate with co-workers and management, forwarding observations and comments in a timely fashionUphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employeesOther duties as assignedWhat skills and experience do you need for this job?:Must get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environmentMature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated;High attention to detail and good communication skillsHigh volume experienceStrong customer service skillsPrevious cooking experienceExcellent organizational skillsHandle stress in a professional mannerFood Safe an asset (required)
