What you will do
You will provide efficient, timely and organized service, build strong working relationships, and help drive innovation through continuous process improvement


What you will bring

  • Postsecondary diploma in a recognized Legal Assistant program, or combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in a legal support role
  • Ability to independently manage own workload with welldeveloped organizational and time management skills and handle changing and competing priorities
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal with keen attention to detail and the ability to draft clear and concise written communications
  • Strong technical skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Pro, matter management and document management software)
  • Knowledge of bankruptcies, garnishments and/or other miscellaneous types of legal requests (ie. Powers of Attorney, Wills and Estates, Court Orders, litigation pleadings) would be considered an asset
  • Experience working with highly sensitive and confidential information as part of daily duties
  • Professionalism, diligence, tact, discretion and reliability
