Consolidated Gypsum Supply Ltd. is an Alberta based building supply company serving builders and contractors in Western Canada for 46 years. Headquartered in Edmonton, Consolidated Gypsum Supply Ltd. has six Branches; two in Edmonton, two in Calgary and one each in Red Deer, and Saskatoon.

We are looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented, customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment to join our team in Calgary.

As the first point of contact for clients, the Inside Sales Representative will demonstrate our culture and values, while educating customers on our variety of products in order to create a seamless and memorable customer experience.

Customer Service

Greet customers and answering calls in a professional and courteous manner
Produce packing slips for pickup, delivered, or direct transactions
Advise customers on use and care of merchandise
Maintain customer files
Execute the CRM process

Showroom

Keep abreast of new products
Accept payment as outlined by Sales Policy and Procedure Manual
Organize showroom merchandise
Review stocking levels and ensure quantity is reasonable
Design Showroom for client purchase optimization
Complete opening and closing tasks
Create a safe and clean environment within the showroom for all clients and employees
Attend and present updates at sales meetings, where applicable
Check orders for accuracy
Additional duties that may be assigned by the Sales or Branch Manager
Follow all Company Policies & Procedures

Requirements:

High school diploma is required, postsecondary is considered an asset.
Sales experience and/or experience in the building supply industry is an asset.
Quick learning capabilities.
Excellent customer service.
Excellent communication (both verbal and written), presentation and negotiation skills are required.
Positive attitude and a desire to succeed within a team environment are very important.
