What you'll do:
  • Provide professional advice and support to all members and customers in the Home Centre
  • Consult with customers to assemble orders and arrange delivers
  • Assist in receiving product and review documentation to ensure proper quantity, type of product being delivered and record any shortages
  • Advise management of any stock deficiencies
  • Pickup deliveries from suppliers as directed, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
  • Collect payments on C.O.D. deliveries and coordinate pickup of returned items from customers
  • Ensure proper and safe operation of all company equipment, including the forklift
  • Support in other departments and with other duties, as required

Who you are:


  • High School Diploma
  • 12 years of previous lumber yard experience
  • Previous work experience in a Home Center retail location would be considered an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for success
  • Previous retail experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
