We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, SMB Wireless Planning, Forecasting, and Analysis to join the TELUS Business Solutions (TBS) Strategy & Planning team within a dynamic, agile, and entrepreneurial environment.

The TBS Strategy & Planning team is responsible for driving profitable growth within the Business P&L through strategic program development, P&L management and governance, and acting as strategic advisors to our Finance and Marketing partners.

Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

You will lead the SMB Wireless Planning team responsible for the annual, quarterly and monthly business and financial planning processes for the Business P&L.

Our Leadership team will look to you directly for stewardship, strategic guidance, and performance insights on our national Business Wireless base.

You will also be responsible for leading strategic reviews, business case development, and deep dives towards executive decision support.

Reporting directly to the Director, TBS Wireless Planning, Forecasting, and Analysis, you will also be responsible for leading and coaching a high-performing strategic planning team.

Here's how

Lead the development of the annual and longterm financial plans
Lead or contribute to semiannual strategy reviews/presentations
Set targets for and monitor performance of core KPIs (Gross, Deacts, ARPU, COA/COR, etc.)
Manage the monthly forecasting process and deliver monthly performance updates to the Senior Leadership team
Lead, mentor and coach direct team members and collaborate with key stakeholders
Investigate changes to underlying performance, analyze key market shifts and size business impact of opportunities and risks
Develop scenariobased analyses and make strategic recommendations to the Senior Leadership team
Responsible for P&L stewardship and education within the marketing team, providing a critical perspective on the P&L impact of key initiatives
Contribute to the longterm strategic outlook for the Wireless P&L, including translating foundational B2B Wireless industry trends and product innovation into performance and profitability drivers
Build strong partnerships with our Finance leadership team as well as Planning teams for other segments and our Wireless pricing and base management teams

Qualifications:

What you bring

Strong business acumen and a proven ability to synthesize business results into actionable insights
Highly proficient in business and financial analysis with deep Excel competence
Proven, selfdirected, hypothesisdriven problemsolving approach
Telecommunications expertise; wireless experience preferred
Consulting, strategy or finance backgrounds would be highly valued
University Degree and 7+ years of relevant experience (MBA preferred)
