Description

Draftsperson Responsibilities:
_

  • Read and interpret architectural drawings for the purpose of design
  • Prepare detailed drawings in SolidWorks and AutoCAD as well as shop drawings for approvals
  • Prepare part drawings for production
  • Demonstrate knowledge of project specifications
  • Examine drawings for conformity and errors
  • Produce quality drawings and designs complete with related technical information
  • Assist manufacturing department interpret approved drawings
  • Work with other team members to organize designs and drawings for production
  • Utilize time efficiently and maintain orderly work area

Requirements:_

  • Proficient in SolidWorks (mandatory)
  • Ability to produce architectural drawings (mandatory)
  • 1 3 years' experience working with 3D Solidworks (mandatory)
  • Experience and proficient in AutoCad
  • Knowledge of working with wood (mandatory)
  • Ability to give, understand and retain detailed instructions (mandatory)
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of various CAD/CAM software (preferred)
  • Knowledge of working with glass and metals (preferred)
