    What you'll do as a Technical Director:

    • Help integration of UI assets into the game;
    • Provide UI technical support for UI artists and programmers;
    • Ensure UI is as optimal as possible, be the gatekeeper of budget and performance;
    • Be the owner or "go-to person" when it come to UI Data and Assets;
    • Understand UI pipelines and limitations of our tool, rise needs and requests for improvements of our tool;
    • Understand our tool ecosystem and framework;
    • Integrate UI assets in game;
    • Bug fixing of day-to-day UI related features;

    • A good understanding of a variety of game engines, systems, programming languages, interdependencies, and critical issues;
    • The ability to make informed, immediate decisions with minimal long-term impacts;
    • Capacity to quickly understand game design rules, mechanics, balancing concepts and techniques;
    • An interest in accessibility and optimization.
    • Ability to find and debug issues within content.
    • Good understanding of interactive UI and UX application.
    • Comfortable realizing content based on concepts and design.
    • Excellent mentorship, interpersonal, and presentation skills;
    • A highly creative problem solver;
    • Effective cross-departmental communication: you can easily communicate with all disciplines + break down complex information for various audiences;
    • A strong understanding of a variety of UI tools and applications.
    • Experience with C++ and node based visual scripting tools. (E.g. Unity or Unreal).
    • 7+ years of experience developing UI or a directly related field within game development.
    • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, UX/UI or equivalent training or relevant experience.
