Position Information:


Temporary until approximately May 26, 2024.

Rotation/Shifts:


  • Days and evenings, including weekends, 8 hour shifts (10:3018:30, 15:0023:00).

  • The Hospital reserves the right to change.

Basic Requirements:


  • High school diploma;
  • Community college Health Care Assistant certification or equivalent;
  • Six (6) months recent experience in the delivery of direct patient care (i.e. Nursing Aide, Orderly, PCA, Nursing Assistant and Registered Practical Nurse);
  • Knowledge of universal blood and body fluid precautions;
  • Knowledge of proper lifting techniques;
  • Demonstrates a respectful attitude to patients, the public and colleagues;
  • Demonstrates ability to work effectively without constant supervision;
  • Demonstrates ability to cooperate with others in a high stress, busy workplace.
