How your role will add to the story:
We are looking for a Cyber Security Expert Defensive to join our Global Cyber Security team.

In this pivotal role, you will engage in collaborative efforts with internal stakeholders and esteemed industry partners to effectively counter advanced threats and tackle intricate security challenges.


A day in the life

  • Adapt best practices, or define and execute actions to manage cyber security incidents in our enterprise environment.
  • Drive lessons learned activities after incident closure to identify potential gaps in our security controls.
  • Provide verbal briefings, visual presentations, and written reports to management, industry partners and other stakeholders.
  • Determine regional incident response requirements and align with relevant stakeholders.
  • Propose and deliver projects to enhance team's incident response capabilities.
  • Identify, make, and maintain working relationships across the business lines and support teams.
  • Enable, guide and mentor junior members of the team.
  • Participate in sharing communities

Qualifications:

Mercedes-Benz Star skills, requirements & traits:

  • University degree (or college) in Computer Science, Information Technology.
  • 5+ years working experience in cyber security or related field in a corporate, military, or manufacturing environment.
  • A consistent history of recognized technical certifications in cybersecurity such as GDAT, FOR508, OSCP, CCSK, GRID and so on.
  • Excellent handson experience in at least two of the following areas: Threat Intelligence, Incident Management & Response, Data Analysis in a SIEM, Forensics, Automation, Cloud Security, OT Security.
  • Honest and professional, strong team influencer, able to proactively support team culture that fosters knowledge sharing, exc
