    Details:
    A Mechanical Designer position is currently available at Belcan in the Windsor CT area. This is a full-time direct job with benefits.

    Great matching candidates will have at least five years of mechanical design experience in aerospace and an associate's degree in a related field.


    Job Duties:

    • Solid part modeling and drafting using CAD NX, Solidworks
    • Complete tasks using customer standard work
    • Create and present at customer design reviews
    • Peer review completed deliverables of team members prior to submittal to customer
    • Help address NX questions and act as an informal mentor to lesser experienced team members

    Required:

    • At least five years of experience as Mechanical Designer within Aerospace and an
    • Associates degree Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting/Design or similar degree
    • Expert level of proficiency in NX CAD & Teamcenter software
    • Ability to work within an integrated product development team
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools
    • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required
    • Due to the nature of the work, on-site presence is required
    • Current secret clearance or ability and willingness to get secret clearance required

    Desired:

    • Familiarity with precision matched pneumatic valves and complex fuel control housing products.

    Compensation:
    We provide a competitive pay and benefits package.

    This position is offering a salary of $56,160 to $93,600 however Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.

    Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.
